3 Amazing Things To Know About Gel Moisturizers | Oily Skin

Just because you have oily skin, it doesn’t mean it is hydrated. Often times oily skin can be a result of not moisturizing your face enough! So here are a few things you should know about gel moisturizers for oily and acne-prone skin.

First, they have a high water content and most probably contain hyaluronic acid which improves elasticity in the skin.

Second, this creates the perfect base for makeup application.Oil-based lotions and creams often causes the makeup to slide or fade since foundations are also oil-based.

Third, if you have acne, then you might believe that it’s best to avoid moisture but that idea is wrong because hydration doesn’t mean that grease will clog up your pores. If your T zone is oily then it could be due to over treating which triggers more sebum to produce more oil.
